I started sewing in August of 2016, and it’s just taken off. I’m obsessed! I’ve been plus-sized for most of my life, and never felt like I was able to wear what I really wanted. Now I’m making my own clothes, and loving it. My self-esteem has soared, and the sense of empowerment that comes from creating a garment has hugely improved the quality of my life. My style is all elegant muted solids and linens at one end, and wildly colorful boho/hippie/patchwork at the other end.
