Elska is a 1979 Pacific Seacraft Flicka 20. Her hull was purchased directly from Pacific Seacraft, and shipped to a professional boat builder, where her interior was custom built with offshore cruising in mind. Her cabin is Honduras mahogany, and instead of the traditional PSC headliner, she was given gorgeous fir planks. Her hull is completely insulated, the bulkheads are bonded to the hull (no liner).

I’m only in my early 40’s now, but I hope to someday be “that old white-haired lady in the Flicka” that everyone around Puget Sound sees while they’re out and about. I love the Pacific Northwest, and want to spend the next several decades with Greg exploring the San Juan islands, and on into Canada. I want to see Desolation Sound, hopefully many times. I’d like to see Alaska someday, from the deck of my own little boat.
I don’t have any offshore plans, but a few offshore dreams! I used to think about sailing around the world, but more realistically I aim now toward learning more about the trip from Seattle to California, and then to Mexico to cruise around for a bit. Maybe sometime after 2022 or so?
