I live in Seattle, Washington with my husband and family. This is my personal blog where I talk about sewing, sailing, living with a chronic illness, and other adventures. I have a Flicka 20 named Elska, and we sail as much as my pain allows (a tiny pathetic fraction as often as I’d like).
I’m a former oncology massage therapist, and a current yoga teacher-in-training, although I won’t be teaching for some time. I’m working on healing my body. I was diagnosed with fibromyalgia in 2012, but that diagnosis was changed by a specialist at Stanford University in May of 2017, to chronic fatigue syndrome. Either way, it’s awful.
